Founded CG, serve as President and CEO
Bob Gallagher is a proven entrepreneur and business leader who has demonstrated his ability to build winning companies for more than two decades. Bob founded Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group in 2002 with three other partners. Since then, he has served as the company’s President and CEO and has successfully delivered projects worth more than $250 million combined.
In his current role, Bob wears many hats. He has assembled a top-notch leadership team and works with them to craft and drive the company’s organizational structure and business strategy. Bob also plays a critical role in customer-facing activities and has forged a strong network of client executives who ensure that CG’s services are attuned to market demands.
Prior to founding CG, Bob served in a variety of leadership roles with three professional services companies ranging from $100 million to $2 billion in revenues: Systems and Programming Consultants (SPC), Data Processing Resource Corporation (DPRC), and Compuware Corporation. During this time, Bob created management and sales teams, led acquisitions and integrations, and secured Fortune 500 clients including Bank of America, Wachovia, Fidelity National, IBM, and Verizon.
To advise CG’s clients, Bob draws on his first-hand experience with project management, collaboration, technology systems, management consulting, and analysis. He augments his expertise by attending banking and business conferences, meeting with CG’s communities of practice, and interfacing with financial services executives.
Bob holds a B.S. in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, from Central Michigan University. Bob also serves on charity boards and committees — including YMCA and Blumenthal Performing Arts — and is a Board of Advisor Member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. He is married with three daughters and is active in coaching youth sports.
