The economy is based largely on banking, technology, energy and transportation, and includes one of the Federal Reserve branches. The Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex has one of the largest concentrations of corporate headquarters in the United States.

Home to numerous professional sport franchises and the Texas Motor Speedway Dallas has no shortage of sporting events. There are many prospects for arts & entertainment, dining, recreation, and, having the most shopping centers per capita, Dallas is filled with opportunities for shopping.
